Spasticity

Involuntary muscle spasms, usually in the legs.

Spasticity is a symptom of MS that causes muscles to feel stiff, heavy and  difficult to move. It exists on a scale: from relatively mild, with feelings of tightness in muscles and joints; to very severe, producing uncontrollable spasms, usually in the legs.
