Biomarker

The different measures used by medical professionals to evaluate certain processes happening in the body.

Biomarkers are measures medical professionals can use to evaluate your MS. They can use these measures to consistently evaluate your condition over time. They can be very simple (like your pulse) or more complicated (like blood tests). In addition, MRI scans are often used as a form of biomarker for neuroinflammation.
